Events Coordinator Job Description

Essential Functions: Resposible for all aspects of shows and events attended by Gale Force 9 and Battlefront.

Responsible for all the planning and organization for shows that Battlefront and GF9 attend.
    • Coordinates orders for product needed for shows and events.
    • Stocks and restock product going and returning from shows. 
    • Monitors inventory set aside for shows and ensure accurate counts at all times.
    • Coordinates with management for additional staff requirements for different shows and events.

    • Make reservations for travel, rentals, and accommodations.
    • Manages budgets for expense for shows and events agreed upon with management.
    • Responsible for transportation of show inventory and booth materials to and from shows.
    • When required makes presentations at show on product lines and releases.
    • Provides show reports to management for all shows attended.
    • Represents the company in a manner the reflects positively on Battlefront and GF9.
    • Identify potential new shows for Battlefront to attend.
    • Responsible for maintaining tournament program for Battlefront Miniatures
    • Develop and maintain tournament program for Battlefront.
    • Work with Studio to produce materials need for the tournaments program.
    • Coordinate with trade accounts and gaming clubs to support mid-level tournaments and such events.
    • Update sales team on upcoming events and participation.
    • Report upcoming tournaments details to studio for website, follow up with results afterward. 
    • Coordinates and attends National and Masters tournaments.

Supervisory Responsibility: The person will act as lead for Battlefront staff attending.

Work Environment: This position would involve being in the office/warehouse between shows for packing and planning for upcoming shows. When attending shows the Events Coordinator would spend time travel and being at the physical shows. Ability to operate up to 26’ vehicle necessary.

Physical Demands: while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move and or lift materials needed for the show. Additionally, while working shoes the ability to stand as necessary. Ability to pass Department of Transportation physical.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This position is part of Battlefront and is expected to work an average of 40 hours per week. On a monthly basis an agreed work schedule will be decided on with their manager.

Travel: Regular travel to and from events and show locations across the United States and Canada.
